The Lord governs the fief, makes the laws and judges those who break them. It is an honorary role: the village looks up to him, and the Soldiers follow his direct orders.
- You start empty-handed: your power lies in your word and in the Soldiers who obey you.
- Keep track of who produces what. A village where the trades help each other is a village that holds.
- Your Soldiers are your strong arm: keep them close and make sure they are well equipped.

Everyone envies his title, few would carry its weight. The Lord holds no tool and no weapon worth mentioning, only the trust of the village and the obedience of his Soldiers.
